The houses are on Aberford Road and in the background are the buildings and clock tower of Stanley Royd Hospital. The chimney is part of Pinderfields Hospital. The bus in the picture belongs to the West Riding Bus Company. The field in the photograph now has houses on it and called Pinders Grove.
